Email suddenly not arriving?

**UPDATE 2**
After communicating with Google and Microsoft, we have made adjustments to the mail server settings and the mails seem to be getting through now (the way they’re supposed to!). Thank you for roughing it out with us and we apologise to each and every one of you for the inconvenience we have caused, and thank you for your understanding.

**UPDATE: It seems Hotmail users are not receiving our system mails at all. When placing an order you should receive an e-mail from ‘[email protected]’, but these are nowhere to be found (not in your inbox, spam folder or trash folder). Please know we are investigating the issue and will post an update when we find a solution.**

In the past few weeks we have received word from customers (Gmail users) that our e-mails are not reaching their Inbox. The automated messages from our mail server are not reaching your Inbox either at the time you place your order, and/or you are not receiving any of the confirmation e-mails that follow thereafter.

What could be causing the problem? There could be a number of reasons why messages are not arriving in your inbox. To help investigate what happened to your message, you can follow these steps to eliminate possible causes of your missing messages.

Search all messages

search all messages

First, sign into Gmail (if you’re not already). Click the down arrow in your search box (a window that allows you to make specific searches will appear).
In the search field type ‘[email protected]’. At the top of the search window, click on the drop-down menu under “Search” and select Mail & Spam & Trash.
Click the Search Mail button. If you find our e-mails, click on it once to  then voila! If not, then continue onto the next step.

Check All Mail, Spam & Trash

Click on All Mail on the left side of your Gmail page to see if the message has been moved to your Inbox. If you don’t see All Mail, click the More link at the bottom of your labels list. If that doesn’t work, check your Trash and Spam labels (they may have been caught in one of these labels).

Check your filters

Check to see if you have any filters setup. Filters automatically move mail to other places in your account. Check the Filters tab of your Settings to verify your settings even if you don’t think you’ve set any up.

Hope that helps!
