The Mojoprint Flyer VOL 14: Year of the Tiger

News Mojoprint Tiger-friendly Printing

We like to do our bit for charity here at Mojoprint, having sponsored and supported a number of organisations and events throughout 2009, including the Run for the Cure Foundation through the printing of their Breast Cancer awareness magazine PINK and Refugees International Japan with the design and print of their 2010 Art of Dining calendars.

With 2010 the Year of the Tiger then, we thought it fitting to see what we could do to help conserve these magnificent creatures. As it turns out, tigers are actually in real danger. In fact, as the result of illegal hunting and the fragmentation of their natural habit, the WWF estimates less than 4,000 tigers may be left in the wild today.

Wondering what we could do to help their plight we decided to launch our Tiger-friendly Printing campaign.

How it works

Throughout 2010, simply download and add our special Tiger-friendly Printing logo to any flyer/poster designs etc. that you print with us (or simply ask us to add it for you when you place your order) and we will donate ¥100 to the WWF Japan Sumatran Tiger Appeal for each order received.

It couldn't be simpler. Bask in the warm glow of satisfaction by telling the world that you print with us and help to conserve tigers at the same time. Start helping the tigers today!

Track the progress with the campaign thermometer on our campaign page.

We have set an initial target of 500 orders throughout the year in an effort to raise ¥50,000 for charity but if the response exceeds our expectations we may raise this total accordingly.

Products
Special flyers (110kg)

We have recently added Arabelle White, Mr. B, Right Stuff GA and Van Nouvo to our special flyers range.

These are all versatile premium papers with varying degrees of 'tooth' and whiteness and are popular with designers in Japan. Which you choose depends largely on your design and ultimately your personal preference.

Van Nouvo is a semi-coated matt paper that feels natural but results in bright, rich colors. Arabelle, Mr.B and Right Stuff on the other hand are all uncoated papers and so produce consistent tones, yet handle color more vividly than standard uncoated stock. Right Stuff GA in particular is a good choice for tri-fold pamphlets and menus when you want a more natural feel than matt coat or coat.

Need a feel?
Look out for our new paper sample books coming soon that will include these new papers, but for now please drop us a line if you would like to see some samples of these or any other of the standard papers we use.
